Long walk....

Hello everyone !!! Here you have a summary of the last week.

Tuesday, in practise class, we started doing exercises of linking words practised these in web pages and in handout rewriting sentences. We also did a reading and comprehension of a text about car industry malaise.

Wednesday we did a reading and comprehension of a text about what is a brand, and other text about the marketing to teenagers. We searched synonims and words formed with a prefix or a suffix in the two texts.

This weekend, Sunday, I returned to make a hike up mountain, this time was harder than last week, we did 18 Km, but it was worth because we toured large landscapes, and we also viewed very nature and faune,even almost got bitten by a snake.
Probably next Sunday we will also track.

College festival

Hi everybody !!! Here you have a summary of the week 21/03/11-27/03/11.

Tuesday, in practise class we did exercises of linking words, expressing cause/effect, contrast, addition and other important linking devices. We practised these in web pages. We also did a reading compression and listening.

Wednesday we corrected the exercises of prefixes and suffixes, these exercises were homework of the unit 2.

That week was the university party of the EPSA, the pumpkin festival or more commonly called "las Paellas". This event has always been done on Thursdays but as the Thursday of this year the weather wasn't very good, the Paellas festival have been done on Friday. This event consist in join students from all university courses and each group puts its tent and cook your own food, paella, spanish typical food, made with rice, meat and spices, or also meat roast. Meanwhile, the organization mounted shows, competitions, music, food, etc. This party was very funny and lively.

Sunday I hiked up the mountain "Cabeço d'Or", Busot, with my father and my cousin. We walked a little and we enjoyed nature and views. Also, I burned the alcohol that I drank in the Paellas festival, jeje.

             

communion week

Hello class students! Here you have a summary of the week 14/03/11-20/03/11.

Tuesday of that week we did exercises of reading and listening about new technologies wear computers. We also listened a phone concersation.

Wednesday we did theoric class. We start unit 3. We learnt vocabulary about jobs, names of workers and places of specifics jobs.


This weekend I had the communion of the daughter of my mother's cousin. Morning there was the mass. Then we had lunch in the restaurant of the "Hotel Bonalba", Alicante. We meet with distant relatives from other cities. Next day the family went to lunch at a restaurant near the beach because the distant relatives are from Madrid and there is no beach and we also say goodbye.

Weekend Madrid

Hello class students! Here you have a summary of this week.

Tuesday of this week we did an exercise of reading a text from internet about desktop and laptop computers. Also we practised the modal verbs, your forms and uses.

Wednesday we did theoric class. We correct the reciew exercises from homework. We started with the theme of future trends, with nanotechnology, nanobots, nanocomputers and your functions. Also We doing exercises of listening about money matters. Finally we saw grammar with the two verbs "do" and "make" that are often confused. The meanings are similar, but there are differences.

This weekend I went to the capital city, Madrid, with friends of the music band. Friday We left Alicante at 16:00 o'clock with train and arrived to Madrid at 19:30 pm. Then We went to hostal "El duque" and we had diner. Saturday we visited "Palacio real", "Plaza del Sol", "parque del retiro", "plaza mayor", "Gran via" and afternoon we went to view the Miserables Musical in the theater Lope de Vega. Sunday we breakfasted churros con chocolate in the Plaza Mayor and after we saw "la puerta de Alcalá", "La Cibeles", "la plaza neptuno", "El congreso de los diputados", afernoon We returned to Alicante. This trip was very funny and rewarding.

           

Carnaval, Carnaval....♫♪ ♫♪♫♪♫♪

Hello blog users! Here you have a summary of last week.

Tuesday of last week we had the last session of the oral presentations with the theme of question time, handling questions effectively at the end of a presentation, asking and answering questions and recapitulation. We did exercices of communicative functions: transport and travel, with exercices of questions, sentences, complete, listening and speaking.

Wednesday we did theoric class. We continue with the unit 2 about computers. We doing exercices of vocabulary about computers and grammar about first and second contitional. Also we saw Real world indirect and direct questions, this exercices is quite difficult.

The last weekend was carnaval, the costume party. I played with my music band and we played songs as "carnaval, carnaval","brasil","copacabana", etc. There were a lot of people disguised as many things and it was very funny.

         

Half year of the party

Hello! Here you have a summary of the week 21/02/11-27/02/11 .

Tuesday of this week we had the fourth class of practices. We started with gramatica. We did exercices of the verbs tenses, forms and uses. After we did exercices of the verbs tenses with voice active and passive. Also we practised different pronunciations for words ending "-ed". Then at 9 o'clock we beguin with the third oral presentation of a effective presentation. this part of the oral presentation we saw linking the parts, the right kind of language and visual aids.

Wednesday we did theoric class. We started unit 2 about computers. We doing exercices of vocabulary about computer parts, also we saw Listening and grammar about second conditional. Also look at some of the technology.

This weekend, saturday there was other party. This event is because it is half a year for the festivities of my town. We paraded for the main street at 12:30 o'clock in the morning, after we went each group to your kabyle to lunch and afternoon parade again but in summary a lot of party.

An exhausting week

Hello! Here you have a summary of the week.

Thuesday of last week we had the third class of practices.
We started with gramatica. We did exercices of the language of definitions, relative clauses. We did exercices of the defining and non-defining with phrases. Then at 9 o'clock we beguin with the second oral presentation of a effective presentation. Here we did a making a stard that comprise making a good presentation, how to introduce yourself and your talk and preparing giving the introduction.

Wednesday we did theoric class. we started correcting exercices of homework. Later we continue doing exercices of the unit 1. Exercices of specifying and describing properties and discussing quality issues. In this class we finished the unit 1.


This weekend, thursday, friday and saturday, I played the saxophone in a party in my town. Thursday I played with my big music band a concert of festive music. Friday and Saturday I played with a music band of friends. In this small band we are 30 components, there are much variety of instruments but this is a wind band and percussion, ie only there are wind and percussion instruments. We played Friday and Saturday all the day and finished too tired. We will travel or make a dinner with the money of the reward.
